Michael Taplin: Founder of Bizlearn.biz

Michael Taplin is the driving force behind bizlearn.biz.  He spent the last 25 years as an independent consultant, owning and running successful businesses that trained thousands of people in large organisations. Twelve years ago he left the Australian corporate scene behind to move to rural New Zealand. This change of lifestyle  meant getting close to the small business culture in New Zealand, and he has been a volunteer business mentor working through Business Mentor NZ.  For 12 years Michael was a contract lecturer for Massey University; appointed a Teaching Fellow of the Graduate School of Business, he taught topics in both the MBA and Public Sector Management programs.

The team at bizlearn.biz believes that low cost access to high quality training in business techniques can improve the quality of management of every business. As small business owners ourselves, we know that most institutional training involves a high commitment of time, and cost, and the result does not always justify the effort.  We believe that you will benefit from a new model of learning that puts you in control of what you want to learn and when you want to learn it.
